It’s difficult these days to get a good view of the sky at night, isn’t it? What with all the town lights and aeroplanes flashing in the darkness overhead. But when I’ve been able to catch a glimpse, well it’s been amazing and reminds me how strangely wonderful our Creator God is. Like it says in the Bible:-
‘When I consider the heavens,
the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars,
What is man that you are mindful of him?’
Of course the beautiful lights in the sky at night are always present, whether I look at them or not. Sometimes we don’t have to see the stars, it’s just enough to know that they are there. It’s the same case with knowing God. We don’t have to see him to know that he, too, is there.
